So the last two releases have only been available with the purchase of a magazine. Does this mean that Knoppix has been moved behind a paywall from now on?

Well it looks like Knoppix has indeed gone to a version that will no longer be available to the bulk of it's loyal users. Wonder if there will even be another version after the limited 8.5 run included with the magazine.
