3com 3ccfe575bt card?

Hi everybody!!!! this is my first post, and my first question.
I have a Toshiba Satellite 2140xcds laptop with a 3com 3ccfe575bt pcmcia card, i've been trying to make it work but i think i only have made it work half the way, i've runed the network card configuration utility from the K menu but i only can ping certain machines, it doesn't resolves names at all, an i cant get to ping my nameserver or gateway, any suggestion?

now i know that the problem is that it is sharing irqs with the sound card , i've tries to change the settings in /etc/pcmcia/config.opts to exclude the troubled irq "11" also tried several things in /etc/default/pcmcia and /etc/init.d/pcmcia but nothind any suggestions on how to chage the irq assigned for eth0?
