good morning
after much fun and progress with knoppix i finally installed a stable debian woody on hdd to work on open source cms/shopsystems.
now i'd like to make a bootable knoppix-like cd from my installation ( not remastering a knoppix )
with preinstalled typo3 / oscommerce / *nuke / and others.
under http://packages.debian.org/stable/utils/bootcd.html i found bootcd from b. schumacher which copies the running debian system on cd but i really love the efficient way the knoppix scripts boot the machine.
i am a linux newbie ( my focus is on cms...) and after digging the forums and torturing google & co i have still some questions:
is there a howto somewhere ?
which of the scripts found under http://developer.linuxtag.net/knoppix/i386/ do i need ?
are they optimized for user "knoppix" or does it work with any machine / usernames ?
kind regards from berlin,
andre
