    [?] Howto: Automate running ntp via sntp during each session startup

    ntpdate is now deprecated, advised 'sntp', but how to automate its running during each session startup?

    Currently, have to run:
    Code:
    $ sudo /etc/init.d/ntp start
    on a terminal after startup to keep the ntp updated and running.

    Knoppix 8.6.1 doesn't do this automatically.

    The
    Code:
    man sntp
    USAGE section isn't very clear.
