screen resolution problem

I cannot get knoppix to work if I set the screen to anything above 800x600. Both 640x480 and 800x600 work... however when I try "screen=1024x768" nothing shows up when x starts. Any ideas?

Try adding xvrefresh=60 to the screen cheat code.
