Insert 3D game launchers (like for EA games,UT,etc..)

Why not add game launchscripts ?

Which ask for some stuff when started (game location, video chipset, audio chipset, keyboard layout, etc.) and launch the game.

This could make knoppix VERY popular (even more then now ).

    greetzzz,

    LOL

got a first one to work... Medal Of Honour !!!!

It's a bit (read a lot) buggy ,but it worked..COMPLETELY ON LIVECD !!
The system was on a AMD Athlon 800 with 256 Mb ram and a NVIDIA 440mx/64mb .

I combined the nvidia live script from debian http://debian.tu-bs.de/knoppix/live/nvidia-live.sh with the Mohaa launch script from http://icculus.org/news/news.php?id=1607 .
This proves the principle of launch scripts could work .
Tip : when using the executable from icculus you've gotta change the date of your system to august 2003.Cause they have put a limit on it... .

Since this is only a start ..I foresee in the future Gameconstructors will use the linux-knoppix combination (If they are visionary) to sell games.

Greetzzzzz, (think this last reply to myself will set off some reply's )
