Intel PCMCIA Card

I'm trying to get a laptop with a wireless PCMCIA card to be able to access the internet in Knoppix (the newest version). On startup, it said something like "PCMCIA device autodetect FAILED", or something of the sort. I tried going into AirSnort, and it couldn't detect the card. It's an Intel Anypoint PCMCIA Adapter.

if you could please post the full model number of the card it would make it a bit easier to troubleshoot.

It's an Intel Anypoint 2 Wireless PCMCIA Card Model number AP311
