All versions pssibly ? The "Desktop" disappeared as a Drectory accidently

Hi ,

1- Accidently my "DESKTOP" has disappeared as a "DIRECTORY"

ie as usual with at least the 2 icons_LINKS:

KNOPPIX_Link" and "Knoppix_Flash_Install_Link"...

after many "Hdd_Re-Install" (optin "keep DATA).

2- Even the "new false desktop" is locked (not writable).

3- Booting hanged much times on loading the graphic module.

4- This was overcamed by applyng 4 good cheatcodes:

a- xmodule=amd/ati very difficult to find

b- screen=800x600 and fb800X600 (for example)

c- noagp

5- At the present situation the old good Desktop is accessible

by the path "/home/knoppx/Desktop"...

"Drag and Drop" being so a little more difficult.

this being one of my GOALS

6- Has anybody a good idea for returning "DESKOP" as

a "DIRECTOR" ?

Which "Files / Directories" may be useful ?...
