    Orinoco card not found

    I just received my orinoco pci card from UPS, and installed it into a new PC, running knoppix 3.2.

    According to the Debian mail lists, the Orinoco card should the best card, and easiest to find/setup.

    Knoppix only finds the built in LAN card.

    Thanks for any help

    Here is my lspci -vv output;

    hmm interesting. a lspci doesn't list my orinoco gold card at all, but it works fine. have you tried running wlcardconfig anyway? try reinserting the card if wlcardconfig acts like no card is detected.

    Yep.. The machine has 2 pci slots, and I've tried both. Though I'll re-try in the morning to make sure.

    Thanks for the tips

    What is the output when you type lsmod?

    What do you have in your /etc/modules file?

    I think I'm getting close, but still cannot get the orinoco_pci module loaded. It keeps telling me wrong io and/or irq.

    Thanks
