--I presume you are talking about the Intel P4 processor SMP emulation? If so, Knoppix will support it when the stable 2.4 kernel supports it.

I have a dell 2600 box with two xeon cpus, when I boot it with knoppix 3.2, it tells me that the machine has 4 cpus, and when I use 3.3, it just tells 2 cpus.
