switch it around, for example: 1024x768 800x600 640x480. do it in that order and you should boot into your first rez ie..1024x768. and not 800x600 first.
I installed Knoppix 3.2 to HDD. Everything works fine except the screen-resolution 1024x768 does not work. I looked at the files /etc/X11/XF86config and /etc/X11/XF86config-4 and found that this resolution was detected beside the other resolutions 800x600 and 640x480. But the PC starts with 800x600. Ctrl-Alt-+ ans Ctrl-Alt-- does not help.
Can anybody help? Is there a program to autodetect screen resolutions or monitor?
Thanks, veuf
