An easy newbie question - very newbie

Ok, I'm in KDE(3) and I want to do a <ctrl><alt><f1> to get a shell prompt. (Yeah, I know I could use Konsole instead). How do I get back to KDE?

    Thank you.

<ctrl>< alt ><f7> This assumes you are running on the first graphical terminal e.g only one instance of KDE running if you have two running and on the second one the use f8.

Or Ctrl-Alt-F5 in certain cases -- running Knoppix from CD with certain memory constraints, for example, will give you TTYs on F1-F4 with X running at F5.
