Multiple KNOPPIX compressed filesystems...

Well, it could be possible put in a DVD-R 5,6, 7... KNOPPIX directories, contining diferent flavours of KNOPPIX.

With a menu at boot time it would be possible choose among verions and mount desired compressed filesystem, no?

What do you think about?

check www.morphix.org, it uses multiple compressed images to boot, has 3 different mainmodules and more on their way. It's still quite fresh, and putting quite some work into it, but it works!

(however, as i don't have a DVD-burner, i've only tested it with CDR)
