what happens when knoppix is hdd installed

when knoppix is hdd installed what is the defult os, if i have windows 98 also installecwhat happens and can i configure it to multi boot

When knoppix is hdd installed you end up with what is essentially Debian linux.
As far as configuring for a multi boot.... did you actually to look see if anyone else had asked this question... it's a very common question. Try reading this thread...

how about having it hdd installed without partitioning it, is this possible so i can boot into windows normally but i can boot into linux if i inser a boot disk or somethink but it still completely boots from the HDD
