help on booting

sorry im new to this...i burn the cd...then i stick it in my cdrom drive and restart...i find it wouldnt boot from cd....so i made that boot floppy as instructed in the cd...and then it loads this screen and the bottom its goes

i dont know what to type so i press F2 and i see a list...but i tried all of them and all of them loads vmlinux and then on the second file...it stops and says something like loading failed: swap boot disks and press a key to continue....what do i do?

After boot: just press return. Then you start the normal options. The other codes are only needed if there is something special going on.
