    knoppix unable to detect my external modem, a USR 56K Message modem

    ok

    manage to learn how to install and configure my modem
    one problem about saving my configurations to the floppy though
    appears that I can't overwrite the contents to the diskette
    have to delete the contents and then save

    Say could you give me some pionters on how you got KPPP configured for you exteral modem? please see my post above RE: motorola 28.8 external.
