That's why I posted the code I used and the method I did it by. I do download each new release and could post the same here (or elsewhere) after each new release (as can anyone else who can download and boot it and the prior version). I was slightly worried about adding a big comment like this into the forum but thought it was probably worth it. I think it would be far better though if this information, along with a list of any changes which this doesn't reflect (I guess from my limited knowledge of the KNOPPIX build process that not everything comes out of .deb packages), was uploaded into the ftp site so people could see whether there is anything which interests them in the new release (which could be a few days after the prior release).
