nosound cheatcode

Have someone who's computer freezes even with the failsafe option when probing sound.

So i'd say a "nosound" option is in order, or, make failsafe not probe sound.

my irc conversation must have inspired this post.. i thought i should aslo indicate that when i run the boot process w/o any cheat codes it hangs running the hotplug manager
