Sounds like you need to change the video memory setting in /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 and restart the xserver.
I have a biostar m7vkq motherboard, and i put athlon 1ghz, and 512 meg of ram in it. The onboard video card can't seem to work above 8mb. i tried to change the bios setting to 4MB,16MB,32MB,64MB and the agp to 1x,2x,4x but the system always tell me that it is 8MB no matter how i change the size in the bios setup. Can anyone help please?
i installed the most current driver from biostar website already. i even tried the latest BIOS version. still not working
Please please help.
Thanks
