Did you download (and then burn) the -DE or the -EN iso image?
At the boot prompt, typing "knoppix lang=us" should work with both.
But wait ... are you booting off the CD or did you install to harddisk?
i have knoppix and this is my first time using open source. i made a bootdisk and the keyboard layout is in germany. i tyoe the command for a us keyboard and its says not found. what do i do now? i am a total newbie at this. thx for reading my post
