wine differeces and knoppix

hy all,

can somebody explain the differences between wine (normal version),
winex and crossover office to me and tell me which one comes with knoppix.

Ok, there are different wine versions with different porposes.

wine: it is the free, open-source one, you can download it, binaries and
source and compile, etc. It is in development so many windows
programs don't work. I recomend you wine 20030508 (in my
computer works ok)

wineX: this is not a free one. It's special for games and DirectX.

crossover office: ok, I don't know much about it, it's special for running
M$ office.


The version that comes with knoppix is wine (normal version) and it depends on your knoppix version, for example in 3.2 wine is 20030508 and in 3.3 it is 20030623 i think.
