Floppy Boot

I create the bootable floppy disk and enter the floppyconfig line at the boot prompt but dispite saying that it is loading the data once loaded the appearence is exactly the default.

don't know if this is the problem, but the command is "knoppix floppyconf" or did u not mean u litterally typed floppyconfig? how did u save the layout onto the floppy and are there any error messages? try typing -p at the end when booting, not sure if that works with this knoppix distro though

just to make sure you are not making the same mistake that i have seen a few times... When you make the floppy, only one of the radio buttons is UN-checked...
