I realize aside from the conflicting library issue with KDE, there is just not enough room on a Knoppix CD for Gnome.

It seems like the library conflict could be solved...maybe, by playing with preferences and symlinks.

If this is the case doing so to make Knoppix "Gnome Ready" for newbies who wish to download it would be great.
