I did an HD-install of Knoppix on an older pc (333MHz PII) I don't like KDE normally, and it's not exactly what I'd call quick on this machine, so I've opted for XFCE4 which I find much more useable. However, despite removing all the kde packages, I cannot get GTK2 to use anything but the Geramik theme. Obviously KDE's hold on all the GTK2 apps has not been relinquished. Anyone know the direct way to change this? I'd rather not futs around with all the theme settings, XFCE4 does theme selection nicely when it works.
