Hi, i just tried knoppix, however i cant figure out how to get my
network adaptor working.

anyone have any experience with the 3com 3C940, its a gigabit card

Is that onboard on a kt600 motherboard?

It seems I just added that driver to my custom version of knoppix 3.2, called Overclockix. I don't have that hardware so I can't test whether or not the driver installed correctly.

no, its in my laptop. however i would think that its onboard.

uhm, how can i add the driver to the knoppix iso i have ?

This thread might help. It's quite possible to get it working without remastering the CD.
