    Get english

Hummm.....do you mean the knx-hdinstall script is running in german or just that it reverts back to german after the hdd install?I have the 10-16-2002-EN.iso and my install runs in english but after install I have to change it back cause it goes dutch. This info may help http://www.freenet.org.nz/misc/knoppix-install.html

If the install script is running in german then try hiting F2 when booting the cd and type knoppix lang=us

I had to do that on an older iso to get then install script to run in english. After the install its normal for it to go to german so just change it back with the info from that link above.

    getting english

    Hi
First a general question; how much delay is acceptable in replying to a post?
By now this may be ancient history, in which case I apologise.
You will find some directions on the linuxtag forum by Tigren dated 11.11.02.
These directions left the lower half of the K (start) menu in german.
In the Linuxworld article (nov 4) "Knoppix makes a great GUI installer for Debian there are details "...right-click on the DE in the bottom right hand corner of the screen..."
In my case this already said Us but I proceeded anyway and it changed everything to english
