    why doesn't knoppix use the 'new' linux NTFS drivers?

    I was reading this and couldn't help wondering....

    Write Klaus on the developers list and ask him about it. I don't think he's able to keep up with discussion in these forums.

    NTFS Support

    I think the plan is to have NTFS write support in Knoppix 3.4 so you'll have to wait till then.

    is 3.4 going to be kernel 2.6(.1) too?
