    a question

Hi, I am currently downloading knoppix from a mirror and there are many different things to choose from. I downloaded the 698 mb file called KNOPPIX_V3.3-2003-11-14-DE.iso

    is this the right one?

If you speak German (DE) then YES.

If you speak english then the EN version is for you.

You can use the German version if you want to, when Knoppix was released, it was only in German (natively) so you would boot it with the command
knoppix lang=en (or was it lang=us, it says if you press F2 during boot)
That not only changed the keyboard, but it also changed the native language. From what I remember, it still works with the majority of the variant releases... Just thought I would help so that if you accidently did burn it, you don't have to waste another CD.
