I've never used Gnoppix do this is an WAG. Typically it is looking for a Linux device type. Something like /dev/hda for the first HD, dev/hdb for the second and so forth.Originally Posted by winter009
I just downloaded Gnoppix 0.6 Beta 4. My problem ist that I do not get past the first question "Please The Number Of Drive You Would Like To Install Gnoppix On :" when trying to install Gnoppix to the hard disk. What is expected there? A number? A device? Does the hd have to be mounted or not? Thanks in advance for any help.

It wants the number that is beside the drive, unfortunatly it wants to do the whole drive instead of a partition. example:
Please The Number of Drive You Would Like To Install Gnoppix On:
(1) Drive. Size :40GB
the box is here looking for the number 1...
