Avatar changes: Used a remote avitar? you need to upload it.

Remotly hosted avatars used to be enabled on this forum. However it is impossable to control the size of avatars if they are remotely hosted.

If you were using a remotely hosted avatar, you must now upload it in your profile page.
maximum of 80x80 pixels, 6kb.

Sorry for the inconvience, but some people were being silly..

Hello,

I tried to upload an avatar image (80x76 pixel .jpg sized 3,9kb) and it doesn't show up. If i try to use the URL upload it says it worked, my webserver was contacted indeed, but no avatar shows up. (Not in the forum and not in my profile.) When i try to upload the file directly it says profile was updated, (but no avatar is there) plus a set of php error messages show up. (see below) Maybe the nescessary directory access rights are not set in the avatar directory?

Here the errors:

You might try sending a private message to Eadz. He is the only one that can fix this (if there really is a problem; I have not looked into that). He hasn't been as active in the forums in recent months as he was in the past, so he might not see your post.
