    Why do i have to reconfigure my wireless everytime

    Hi:

    I have a notebook with a wireless adapter included(not pcmcia).

    I have configured my adapter with the knoppix utils for wireless and then networkcard and everything works fine(now it is working ).

    when i reboot i have to configure again my network card.

    It iseems like the config files are there but the wireless network is not started correclty.

    When i was using Mandrake i did remove the modules orinoco and orinoco_pci and added again and it worked but now with knoppix it does not work.

    Thank you for you help.

    Have you installed to hard disk are you running from CD?

    What steps do you have to do to configure your adapter?

    I have installed on harddisk.

    to reconfigure my adapter i go to the knoppix menu.
    network/Internet -> configure wireless
    and then configure networkcard.

    Thank you for you help.
