    The FAQ says consult the user guide which is on the posting page.
    I don't see it.

    Smilies are enabled for me.

    A single left click:




    Drag and drop:

    Double left click:

    You can also just type the smilys - if you know them...

    like this:
    [colon] D =
    [colon] oops [colon] =
    [colon] ! [colon] =
    [colon] ? [colon] =
    [colon] shock [colon] =

    Note, no spaces between the colon's and the characters.

    Once you learn some of them, you can just type them within your text, and not have to click to the left to insert them.
