The problem with the original client and my post seems to be the multiple trackers in the file. I made a new .torrent for those with non-Azureus Clients, and since the files are identically, you may use both trackers for faster and redundant downloading.

Whoooow. Downloading it with wireless LAN in just 30 minutes.
What I did:
* make the hard disk writeable
* open konsole
* cd to the hard disk where the iso should be saved
* download Knoppix34-ct.iso.torrent from link above there
* btdownloadcurses Knoppix34-ct.iso.torrent

Quick Review of Knoppix 3.4
I downloaded the iso and ran it in VMWare, here are the things I have noticed so far.
1. Yes, kliki works just fine.
2. /boot shows both a 2.4.23-xfs and a 2.6.1 kernel present, on my system it booted to the 2.4-23-xfs, not sure how to force a 2.6.1 boot.
3. Under Games, almost all KDE games are gone, there are several Gnome games present, so
4. Boot with desktop=gnome and the Gnome 2.4 desktop runs. So it looks like a lot of things have been trimmed to get gnome back on the CD.
Now if I could just boot to 2.6.1....

That should be easy:
But at least on my system, PCMCIA does not work in 2.6.1...

Again, many thanks to all the people who are uploading this with bittorrent. Befor everyone downloads this, please remind yourself that this is a special release for c't and it has a different collection of software than regular Knoppix. Due to the inclusion of Gnome, a _lot_ of apps had to be stipped out, TeX/LyX for example. KK announced that there will be a new version of 3.3 also soon.
So here is the package list of 3.4 c't edition:
edit - list only went up to P and seemed to get cut off and break the layout, maybe post a link to a .txt list of packages. -eadz

probono,
Do you think you got it all?
As for the nVidia nForce2 LAN driver issues in Knoppix, I just used Arkaine's Overclockix version with the drivers. Klaus left them out on purpose and so rendered Live CD Knoppix all but useless for me.
Now that I have a Shuttle SB75G2 XPC SFF Intel Canterwood box, I'm hoping that the new 3.4 Knoppix won't have this issue.

Grrr, mine's not booting at all. Re-downloading from the second torrent link...
This may be different from the mainstream knoppix releases, but it can give remastering maestros a headstart on 3.4-based custom CD's.

FYI, I was able to boot with the default( knoppix24 ) kernel but the v2.6 kernel( knoppix26 ) would not boot and looked like it was "sticking" on my CDROM. I've got a SCSI cdrom with two IDE disks( one on HPT366 ). Maybe the AIC7xxx.o driver isn't ready/loading but the last line was saying that it was looking at /dev/hde for the CDROM and that was wrong.
It did seem like KDE was a bit quicker when I ran the 2.4.x-xfs kernel.
