    compaq armada 1750

    This laptop wont boot from the Knoppix 3.3 CDrom. When using a book diskette, it starts the failsafe boot but then hangs after--


    Accessing Koppix CRrom at /dev/hdb . .
    setting paths hdb: irq timeout: status=0xd0 (busy)

    Any suggestions?

    remastered the iso images

    something similar happened to me.

    Remastered the CD will be the solution
