new user no sound

hi i am having a problem with my sound, I just added a new user and that user has no sound, but the other users do, why is this and how can i fix it. thanks

Is the new user part of the audio group.
Type "groups" to check.
If you con't see audio type as root "adduser theloginhere audio"
