Has anyone tried to copy the Knoppix ISO image to hard disk and then booting directly from that? I assume you would need to create an initrd image that would allow mounting the image (ie having the loop module), but I don't know how to create the initrd thing.
I think that would be quite an easy way to customise Knoppix, if you could just boot to it from the hard drive and make any changes you like, and then just burn the image later.
