I have been looking for a cd that will allow me to boot from a cd to do normal things like (email, surf web, print, see network and run tools).
I found a way to use gentoo for the ppc on my emac by using the command Xeasyconf, and once that was done i did startx, then exec startkde.
now i am trying to use the knoppix it doesnt have the Xeasyconf command and when i type xf86config, it wont let me see the video driver database.
i have a nvidia geforce video card and the horizontal is 28.0-96.0
the vertical is 50.0-76.0 i guess i can use 800x600 and 8bit 256colors.
can someone please help me with this issue.
