I also have the realtek 8169 gigabit ethernet chip on my gigabyte ga700 something or other pro2 mobo and am having trouble getting a connection to my lan with knoppix 3.4

I have 8169s and 5700s in the network I am trying to set up for remote boot, and neither is an option in the terminal server setup.
