configuring lilo.

i followed some of the directions i found in this boards to install linux and everything whent great but 1 thing

my lilo dont seem to be working correctly. it dont come up with a bootloader and let me chosse thge os (xp or linux)
here is the way i have the box setup

2 HD's

hd1 = 40 gig windows
hd2 = 20 gig 1024 swap and the rest of the 20 gig in / partition.

i installed lilo to the master boot record. im used to this way instead of using windows bootloader ( ty mandrake for spoiling me) anyways when i turn the computer lilo loads and 2 sec later linux is booting no lilo screen to pick os or nothing.

i have not done any changes yet to the file mainly cause i dont have that much experience with lilo config file again ty mandrake for spoiling me.

Boot into your install and open the /etc/lilo.conf with an editor as root and make the changes below then run /sbin/lilo -v still as root to write the changes to the disk and next time you boot you will have a choice of which OS to use.
