Does Knoppix support xinerama / dual monitors (when running it from the live-cd)?
No, because of the autoconfig stuff, I think it only looks for one video card, IIRC on my system it couldn't tell which monitor was connected to which video card.
You would have to start knoppix with ' knoppix 2 ' (plus any other necessary cheatcodes) make the necessary fixes to your XF86Config-4 file and then start X. Once you have xinerama setup your new XF86Config-4 file should be saved by the ' Save Config to floppy option ' and then you would use ' knoppix floppyconfig ' to start.
