Oooh, wonderful!
Downloading torrent now...
Finally! Thank God!
Just one question: when using bittorrent, where do I get the md5sum file?
TIA,

Everything is usually included in the download directory that is created when you run the BT client. If you have a firewall running make sure that you open/forward the ports 6881,6882,6883,6884,6885,6886,6887,6888,6889 or your download speed will suck.Originally Posted by A. Jorge Garcia

Yeah, my d/l rate is rotten (80 KB/s). How do I improve this? I tried using btlaunchmany once before (recently for overclockix) and had a much faster rate.
Is it just bogged-down because everyone is using it right now? I thought the whole idea behind bittorrent was efficiency increased as the number of clients....
BTW, what does the following mean?
./KNOPPIX_V3.4-2004-05-04-EN: Spd: 87.6 KB/19.2 KB Tot: 63.2 MB/45.0 MB [4:09:56 6%]
Does this really mean what I think it does? Is it that I'm only getting 87.6KB/s and have received only 63.2MB of the file and have to wait over 4 hours to finish at this rate? Tell me I'm reading this wrong!
TIA,
