Problem with networking when flash knoppix is booted from knoppix 6.7 boot-only cd

The bootonly-CD is designed to boot Knoppix_V6.7.1, not other versions of Knoppix.

Hi Werner Thanks for your quick reply. Am I right in assuming then, that it is the "1" in the 6.7.1 version number that is important i.e. that the boot-only cd is not supposed or expected to boot even version 6.7.0 from a flash drive. Just so that I have it straight. A change in the third decimal point seems such a small change. But then it does have a new kernel version. And I can always still boot my flash installs using the original CD or DVD that I used to make them. Best wishes, John
