Add knoppix along with other stuff on dvd

Is there any way to add other files to knoppix? By this, i mean outstide of the compressed knoppix image, like adding more folders to the iso... like music and stuff. I want to make a dvd including the normal 700 mb verison, and the first few attempts resulted in a "Cannot find filesystem, Dropping you to a very limited shell"
