Try running the newer kernel instead of the old 2.4
Simply type knoppix26(+enter ofcourse) as opposed to just hitting enter.
Hey!
Just trying out knoppix (very willing to change to it after running it in VMWare).
Well, to the problem.
1. Booted up the CD and hitted enter
2. That lovley pic of Tux came up and an marker started to blink
3. Total system hang
Prolly hardware compability errors.
My system are:
AMD Athlon 64 3500+
1024Mb EMY RAM PC3200 (2*512mb)
Asus A8N-E Deluxe w/ VIA K8T890 PCI-e north-bridge chipset
ATI Radeon X800 XL PCI-e
And I just downloaded Knoppix so its version 3.7
Hope you guys and gals have any nice and smooth answer
