Anyone out there use DSL? I think this is a mini distro based on KNOPPIX that fits on a 50MB business card sized CDR (hockey puck shaped).

I understand you can also burn it to a rw fs on a USB stick! How do I do that?

Yep, I was looking to install it on my 486SX laptop, but that won't work. Go to www.damnsmalllinux.org, it's the DSL HQ. There's a menu on top of the page and the last option is "forums". You can also learn a lot on the FAQ. Everything from installing it on an USB drive install to floppy install. Check the site out, there's a lot of info on there.
