i somehome did something which i dont remember and now when i boot the pc up i have to manually type kdm at boot prompt. HOw to make it default again ?

You can try dpkg-reconfigure kdm I believe there is a question that asks if you want to start KDM at boot or update-rc.d kdm defaults should get you the proper default startup links.Originally Posted by DimGR
