I've booted Knoppix in an effort to salvage my mysql database files from the hard drive (Debian) ... is there a way to run mysql from Knoppix, access those existing databases, and export them so that I can in turn import them into mysql on my new server?
Or am I looking at this entirely wrong? You see where I'm trying to go with this -- any and all help in getting there would be most appreciated.
Thanks!
