Did you actually try this button? Does it start a new (second) xserver?
Why would you want to do this?
hi,
i've installed knoppix 3.2 (2003-9-5) with kde 3.1.3. yesterday i had a look on suse 8.2 with kde 3.1.0 and i saw a button called "new kde session".
but unfortunately i hadn't found the script which starts the new session. does anyone know how to start a new session (with a kde-login-window) from the kde menu?
thank you
p.s.: sorry for my bad englisch.

Because now my girlfriend is able to login in a second session.
But I have a solution for this problem. I had to edit the Xservers file an add a second entry. After that the button was addes automaticly into the menu.
You can try it.
Tank you for your help.
Bye
