What about adding VLC ( www.videolan.org/vlc ) into knoppix?
It's good media player. But i like especially it's versatile video streaming features.
Would be nice to be able to stream video over net with knoppix, for example from video4linux source.
It has also lot more features, like controling over web interface or telnet and so on.

It used to be there in older versions of Knoppix. Personally I prefer KPlayer (a KDE frontend for the very powerful mplayer), It can handle more formats than vlc.

i like vlc. if added, it vill make knoppix much better.. not good in writing english.
