Cant access drives in knoppix - klauncher error

i installed knoppix on my hard disk

hda1 - windows xp (active) NTFS
hda6 - knoppix EXT3
hda7 - knoppix swap

i can boot normally to any one using LILO ..

i cant access my drives in knoppix - (partitions >> windows + linux)

when the desktop appears i get an error :
" Could not start process unable to create io-slave , klauncher said : unknown protocol "file "

whatz the problem ..

during bootup also a strange msg is displayed
" /etc/modules/conf is more recent than lib/modules/2.4.24-xfs/modules.dep"

I have to say that you say nothing of value. You have to specify what happens in more detail before you can be help!

My suggestion is:

Reinstall knoppx

[voldemort]

try the 2.6.6-2 boot option see if you get same problem let know what happens

but if dosnt work does sound like reinstall is best
